About Artist
Museful Purpose firmly believes in her own power of balancing her personal creativity while withdrawing her personal interpretation. Once she finishes a piece, it belongs to the interpretation of the audience.
This primary aspiration aims to serve as a catalyst for self-reflection within the bounds of time. Selfishly she creates to stay in tuned with her own emotions and intentionally she relinquishes the control over interpretation the moment she puts the paint brush down.
This refusal of interpretation creates a space for viewers to breathe and engage with her work in a meaning vacuum, with the option of filling this void with their own personal reflection.
Why Globs?
“Globs are pure fun. They let me play with color, texture, and movement, all while figuring out how to make everything come together in a way that feels both balanced and dynamic. I love the challenge of sculpting each piece so it moves visually, and I enjoy loosing myself to the therapeutic and repetitive motion of adding globs or splattering paint. It’s a wonderful mixture of silliness with technical difficulty.”

Brief Biography:
Museful Purpose, a rising artist based in Seattle, is shaped by her nomadic childhood, insatiable curiosity, and a diverse tapestry of professional experiences.
A major turning point in her artist journey was during her time in South Africa in 2011. Where she took the initiative to launch an art program for an elementary school. Since, she has spent time both leading workshops for children, working with Link Seattle for High School art students as well as leading her own workshops for adults. More recently, she was recognized with an honorable mention from Ten Moir Gallery and her first group showing at M. Curry Gallery in Pioneer Square, Seattle.
She regularly partners with local businesses to showcase her art around Seattle as she continues to scale up the size of her pieces. With the dream of eventually having a room size installation of her Glob art in a major business in Seattle. She also continues to work towards a creative cafe space for folks to work through traumatic experiences with art. As that is a driving force for her own creativity.
More than just an alias, 'Museful Purpose' stands as a testament to resilience, exploration, and growth.
